Meet Kay Gumbs
Manager — Cube Credit Services
Kay Gumbs joined the Law Firm of Caribbean Juris Chambers in 1989 as a Clerk and later joined the Commercial Department where her responsibilities include but not limited to completion of Banking Loans to include Charges, Cautions, Bill of Sales, Debentures and all Loan transactions, Contracts, Agreements, Land transactions, Trademarks and Patent Applications and Audit Reports for retained clients. Presently a Commissioner for Oaths from the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court from the year 2004 and assisting with US and Uk Passport Applications, Belonger Status and Naturalization Applications, witnessing of Land, Court, bonds, Affidavits and other documents for Anguilla, England, and the Eastern Caribbean. Kay still performs these duties for the Law Firm Caribbean Juris Chambers.
Kay later joined Cube Credit Services as an Auctioneer in 2012 and has been supplying auctioneer services to the public, to include Estates, Receivers, Scotiabank now Republic Bank, the former CCB, and First Caribbean Bank. Kay’s functions include heading and organizing our Auction proceedings. Her wide range of knowledge, dedication and experience brings the company much success and growth. Other functions handled by Kay is debt recovery, where her approach is one of diligence and is results-oriented, credit checks, real estate and property management and credit collection reports.
Kay’s career objectives at the firm is driven advancement and the opportunity to utilize her interpersonal and analytical skills, while being passionate, industrious, hardworking, ambitious and efficient. Her honest goal to perform every task given to the best of her ability while able to work on her own initiative, capable of operating keypunch machines with speed and accuracy, typewriting and computer literate.
Kay is a past student of the Albena Lake Hodge Comprehensive School and has completed many short courses in customer service, leadership skills and entrepreneurship skills with Anguilla Community College and Anguilla Chamber of Commerce. Kay is an active community member of the Shoal Bay Community and Core Group, and actively involved in culture and the art form, where she attributes her interest to Mr John Benjamin who she works closely with while he was The Chairman of Anguilla National Carnival Committee. Kay is a football enthusiast and an active member of The Anguilla Football Association. Her other interests include surfing the net, communicating, travelling, and organizing groups, family, and individual travel arrangements a hobby she enjoyed after having a 2-year part-time placement with Amercian Eagle.
